Strategic Planning

As a member of the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) system, Roane State Community College participates in comprehensive planning activities coordinated at the System level. The TBR staff, working with member institutions, develop planning assumptions which define both the probable conditions under which institutions will be operating during the ten-year planning cycle and a vision of where the System and its institutions want to be by the end of those planning periods. The primary purpose of strategic planning is to focus the institution's resources - human, fiscal, and otherwise - and the institution's resolve on the implementation of its approved mission through the achievement of strategic goals it sets for the particular planning period.
