NOTE: Prior to the application deadline, a minimum of 13 of the 27 required credit hours of Nursing general education courses are currently required: BIOL 2010, MATH requirement, and PSYC 2130.

1The requirements will be changing for students seeking admission into the Fall 2017 class. Courses to be completed prior to the application deadline are:  ENGL 1010, BIOL 2010, MATH 1530, PSYC 1030 or a guided elective (3 cr.) to be selected from:  ENGL 1020, SPCH 1010 or PSYC 2130. In addition, science courses cannot be more than five (5) years old.

2MATH 1530 is recommended for students planning to complete a BSN. A minimum grade of "C" is required prior to the application deadline.   MATH 1410 does not fulfill the math requirement.

With the exception noted above, this This program is designed for students who plan to enter the field upon graduation.  Students intending to transfer to a baccalaureate program are advised that they should check with their academic advisor and the four-year institution regarding specific transfer of courses.
