If the call is not answered on the first try, we will attempt a second try 5 minutes later. If the call is not answered on the second try, your appointment will be cancelled and a new appointment will need to be scheduled. No extra time will be added due to a delayed start!
We request that you please give our office 24 hour notice in the event that you need to reschedule your appointment with a counselor. This allows other individuals to be scheduled into that appointment and makes it possible to reschedule your appointment more efficiently.
No-Show, No-Call Appointment: If an individual misses a scheduled appointment without contacting our office, this is considered a missed appointment (“No-Show, No-Call.”)
If a client accumulates a total of three (3) missed appointments within twelve (12) months, the client may not be rescheduled for future appointments and may have their file closed.
Additionally, if you are more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the appointment will be cancelled and you will be considered a walk-in and will have to be worked into the remaining schedule for the day. Please understand that your appointment may have to be rescheduled depending on counselor availability and the reason for your visit.
If you have any questions regarding this policy, please let our staff know and we will be glad to clarify any questions you have. We strive to provide excellent counseling services to you and the rest of our communities. This policy ensures that we treat the time of each individual our office serves equally.
