Middle College - New Students

Step 1

Create an account on the TSAC Portal. TSAC Student Portal (tn.gov)

Step 2

Log into your new TSAC account and apply for the Middle College Scholarship. Be sure to list Roane State as your first college. Middle College Scholarship (tn.gov). This needs to be completed during the spring semester of your sophomore year.

Step 3

Contact your high school and request that official copies of your transcript and any/all Pre-ACT or ACT test scores be sent to the Roane State- One Stop office.

Step 4

Once you receive notification that your application to Roane State has been processed, have your parent sign up for Roane State’s Parent and Family Portal

Step 5

Create your RaiderNet Account: Go to Roane State.edu and click on RaiderNet in the top bar and click on “New Account Setup”.

Step 6

Review your RaiderNet account at least twice a week to see if you have any alerts on your account. Be sure to take care of any items in your alerts.

Step 7

Notify the Middle College office when you receive your “admission is complete” email from Roane State. Your Roane State email address should now be operational and you should plan to check your email at least 2x each week.

Step 8

Register for classes - The Middle College office will handle your first semester's registration. Set up a fee payment plan, if necessary. Middle College: How to Pay

Continue to monitor your RaiderNet alerts and your roanestate.edu email.
