The Roane State Foundation was founded in 1979 as a separate not-for-profit entity with the purpose of providing financial support for the students and programs of Roane State Community College. The Foundation seeks to enhance community awareness of the college, to secure private contributions and bequests, and to manage monies or properties given to the Foundation.
Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation provides financial support for college activities and scholarships. In order to make higher education accessible to all of our students in the nine counties Roane State serves, we have built and furnished campuses in Roane, Anderson, Cumberland, Knox, Loudon, Campbell, Scott, Fentress, and Morgan Counties.
The Roane State Foundation is also licenced to manage Charitable Gift Annuities. You can make a gift that will benefit Roane State Community College students or one of our campus projects in the future and receive guaranteed fixed income for life! Income payments to you are usually considerably higher than your return on low-earning CD's and securities. Please look over our brochure and call us to learn how you can set this up.
