Tutoring in a number of subject areas is available both face-to-face, at the hours below, and virtually over Zoom.
Harriman: Monday through Thursday, 8 - 6; Friday, 8 - 4:30
Oak Ridge: Monday through Friday, 8 - 4:30
Cumberland County: Monday, 8 - 5; Tuesday, 8 - 5; Wednesday, 8 - 4; Thursday, 9 - 5
Scott County: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 - 1
Fentress County: Tuesday, noon - 5; Wednesday, 9 - 5
You can also schedule an appointment to meet either face-to-face or online by going to mywco.com/rscc (Eastern Time) or mywco.com/central (Central Time). Students may schedule appointments on either schedule but must keep in mind the time difference. The schedules do require separate log-ins.
You can get a quick response for your questions by using our chat service. Open the chat by going to the icon at the bottom right of any Learning Center web page. You can get help with scheduling appointments, using the writing or math dropboxes, or anything else about the Learning Center. The chat service is available Monday through Thursday, from 9 AM – 5 PM, and Friday from 9 AM - 3 PM.
The Learning Center provides free access to SMARTHINKING online tutoring at services.smarthinking.com. Your username is your Raidernet email address (email@example.com) and your password is your R-number. You can find your R-number by logging into your Raidernet account.
Enrolled students have Learning Center Online listed as a course on their Momentum course page. Here you can find information on how to upload your essay to the dropbox and receive feedback from a trained writing tutor.

The Harriman and Oak Ridge Learning Centers have computers and printers available for any student to use.
