The Learning Centers will be offering only virtual tutoring on Wednesday, November 25th. To schedule an online session with a tutor, please visit https://roane.mywconline.com/ (Eastern time) or https://rsccwest.mywconline.com/ (Central time). We will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Essays and math questions may still be submitted to the Learning Center Online, and tutors will be checking the dropboxes there throughout the weekend. Students will also have access to Smarthinking throughout the holiday break. To access Smarthinking, visit https://services.smarthinking.com/login. Your username will be your complete Raidernet email address, and your password will be your R number including the capital letter.
The Learning Center is available and ready to serve students! Because so many classes are being offered online, we have streamlined our schedules. For on-ground (on the Harriman and Oak Ridge campuses) and online tutoring in the Eastern time zone, you can set up an appointment here. For online tutoring in the Central time zone, you can set up an appointment here. If you need help setting up an appointment or have any questions, please contact Jenny Rowan at email@example.com.
Please note: all tutoring through the Cumberland County Learning Center will be conducted online until further notice.
The Learning Centers offer tutoring in many subjects. Tutors are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. All tutoring services are available at no cost to currently enrolled students. For more on our services, visit our page on how tutoring works.
The Learning Support Services of Roane State Community College support the classroom experience by providing individual assistance, learning technology and other resources for students, and support services for faculty. We promote a positive and confident attitude toward learning. We offer an environment designed to help students take responsibility for their learning, learn efficiently, persist in their efforts to reach academic and career goals, and achieve academic excellence.
